„Patrząc pod słońce” 

Obrazy prezentowane na wystawie powstały w 2021 roku. Łączy je indywidualna technika malarska. Klamrą tematyczną wybranych prac są palące problemy współczesnego świata, jak równouprawnienie, dyskryminacja, ocieplenie klimatu. “Patrząc pod słońce” jest komentarzem, wypowiedzią, osobistym spojrzeniem artysty na zjawiska z nimi związane. Misha Waks zwraca naszą uwagę na ważne sprawy, które sami ukrywamy w cieniu odwracając się, unikając tematu. Światło słońca jest tu potraktowane symbolicznie, porażeni jego blaskiem widzimy mniej. Nie dostrzegamy prawdy, bo z jakiś powodów nie jest nam ona potrzebna, uwiera, odpycha, kosztuje zbyt wiele energii.

“Looking to the sun”

The paintings presented at the exhibition were created in 2021. They are united by an individual painting technique. The thematic buckle of the selected works are the burning problems of the modern world, such as equality, discrimination, and global warming. “Looking to the Sun” is a commentary, a statement, the artist’s personal view of the phenomena related to them. Misha Waks draws our attention to important matters, which we ourselves hide in the shadows, turning around, avoiding the subject. The sunlight is treated symbolically here, we see less struck by its glare. We don’t see the truth because for some reason we don’t need it, it hurts, it repels, it costs too much energy.
